I will stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.

Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary stare-down, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
